8:00 am - 12:30 pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and until 2:30 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Medical, dental, grocery shopping, activities and congregate meals here at the St Joseph Lincoln Senior Center and other appointments

Senior Center -- Call for an appointment
Are you in need of help balancing your checkbook, or just haven't gotten around to it for months? Randi Utter of Chemical Bank is available to come to the center to assist you. Please call to set up an appointment. You do not have to have your checking account with Chemical Bank to use this service. If you would like to sign up for an appointment, please see the Program Coordinator.
Monthly and Quarterly programs available
Annual Recertification is taking place now through December 31st--everyone who receives monthly or quarterly commodities MUST recertify or be dropped from the program. Please call the Center with any questions.
* Proof of total household income for ALL people living in your home; must have your Social Security Benefit Letter, SSI/DHS Income, Wages, Pension. BANK STATEMENTS CAN NOT BE USED AS PROOF OF INCOME.
* Proof of address such as Driver's License, State ID, current Medicaid card, Voter Registration Card, or a utility bill.
* Proof of your Medicare Part D insurance - this can be deducted from your income.
The Senior Center is a pick up point for monthly and quarterly Government Commodities. If you think you qualify and are not already signed up, please call and make an appointment with the Program Coordinator, and they will go over the application with you.

Need help with new technology? Bring in your device and your questions. Volunteer Ralph Rumpf will do his best to assist you with cell phones, laptops, iPads and more. He will help you on a first come, first served basis. We always need people to assist in the computer lab, please see Shirley if you are interested.
Free Lending Library
We have a Free-Lending Library available in the Senior Center, located just to the left of the Receptionist's Desk. We offer a wide range of books as well as videos and puzzles to choose from. Why not stop by and "check it out!"
Junk Mail Disposal
Are you tired of receiving junk mail? Ken, a volunteer, continues to help anyone who wants to stop receiving junk mail. Bring your junk mail in and place in the box near the front desk where he will pick it up regularly. If you would like to do it yourself, there are instructions available at the front desk to help you get yourself off of these lists.
Did you know that we have a loan closet? It is filled with wheelchairs, walkers, shower benches, canes, seat risers and bedside commode frames. If the need arises to where you require any of these items, please feel free to call and come by the Center. There is no charge for this service, but donations are always greatly appreciated. This service is limited to 60+ citizens. Items loaned can be kept for as long as 3-months.

Our Nurse, Mary Ann Kuehl (pronounced Keel), is here as a health and wellness resource. Her hours are generally Monday-Friday 9am to 1pm. She has been a nurse for 33 years and has worked in numerous fields including family practice, internal medicine and dermatology. Feel free to stop in or call any time.

Lakeland Health Care comes to the Center to hold a foot clinic for our participants. When you come in, they will soak your feet, clip your nails and give you a relaxing foot massage. This service is available to diabetics also, but ONLY WITH A DOCTOR'S ORDER. Call or stop by the front desk for a list of days and times and to sign up. It will put a new spring in your step!
Blood Pressure Clinics
Usually held twice monthly
Are you in need of having your blood pressure checked on a regular basis? The Center holds a Blood Pressure Clinic, usually on the 1st Thursday and 3rd Tuesday of each month from 9:00am - 11:00am. Stay healthy and happy!
